TRASH TO TREASURE IV AWARD WINNERS
Winners and Prizes have been announced during our LIVE VIRTUAL awards ceremony on Saturday, May 30th, at 2 pm. Watch the showcase below.
The top 100 pieces will be printed and framed, to be showcased at the Socorro ISD District Service Center at 12440 Rojas Drive. In addition, the top 100, have been announced and also our 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners for each category, along with several honorable mentions.
WORKSHOPS
Reaching out to our community
Green Hope Project serves the community surrounding El Paso by promoting creativity and environmental consideration through various activities and events. Activities include recycled art workshops, highway cleanups, recycled art exhibitions, and more. They aim to:
*Promote creativity
*Raise environmental awareness
*Host recycled art workshops
*Do weekly desert cleanups with Adopt-a-Highway
*Allow artists free access to discarded items found in the desert
*Educate the community about local recycling services
*Introduce people to local non-profits that share the same goals as us: to make our region a better place to live
*Organize a yearly art contest/exhibition open to all ages
